Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 14, 2026

This policy describes how the PlanAMeeting Google Workspace add-on ("PlanAMeeting," "the add-on," "we") handles data when you install and use it.

What data the add-on accesses

What the add-on does not access

How your data is used

Guest emails and their free/busy data are used solely, in real time, to calculate open meeting slots and to generate a plain-text summary you can copy into an email or message yourself. The add-on does not use this data for advertising, analytics, profiling, or any purpose other than the scheduling feature you directly requested.

How your data is stored

A search's inputs and results are held temporarily in Google Apps Script's built-in cache service, scoped to your individual Google account, for a maximum of six hours, purely so that paging through results or generating the email summary doesn't require re-querying Calendar. After six hours, or once you close the session, this data expires automatically. There is no separate database, and nothing is retained beyond that window.

Data sharing

Your data is never sold, shared with, or transmitted to any third party. The only system this add-on communicates with is Google's own Calendar API, called directly by Google Apps Script under your own authorization — there is no other server, and no third-party service is involved at any point.

Your control over this data

You can review or revoke PlanAMeeting's access at any time from your Google Account's third-party access page. Uninstalling the add-on from Google Workspace Marketplace has the same effect. Revoking access immediately stops any further use of your data by the add-on.

Children's privacy

PlanAMeeting is a scheduling tool intended for general productivity use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in any material way, the "Last updated" date above will be revised to reflect it.
